A funnel is nothing more than a page sequence with exactly one goal. The less a page tries to do at once, the better it converts. Start with two pages: one that convinces and one that confirms.
Step by step
- Define the goalDecide upfront what should happen: book a call, send an inquiry, download a document. One goal per funnel. Two goals halve both.
- Create the funnel and pick a templateOpen the sites area, create a new funnel and start from a template rather than a blank page. Templates already carry a structure that works.
- Adapt the copyReplace the placeholder text. Your headline names the outcome for the customer, not your product. Everything the visitor needs to say yes belongs above the first scroll.
- Add a form or calendarPlace the element where the decision happens. Only ask for what you truly need. Every extra required field costs inquiries.
- Build the confirmation pageThe second page confirms what just happened and says what comes next. It is also where you can measure conversions.
- Check it on mobileView the funnel in mobile preview. Most of your visitors arrive on a phone, and many layouts break exactly there.
- Go liveConnect your domain and publish. Then run through it yourself once, from the click to the confirmation email.
Common issues
The form submits but nothing arrives. Check whether the related workflow is published. A workflow that is only saved does not run.
The page looks different on mobile. Mobile view has its own settings. Adjust spacing and font sizes there separately.
What comes next
Next, connect your own domain and set up email sending so confirmations arrive reliably.
